Website: http://rcilinc.org
Client: Resource Center for Independent Living (RCIL)
Work Performed: Website Design, Website Development

RCIL had their website design completed in 2008 as part of a coordinated marketing plan. The design was attractive but the accessibility and ease of use was really lacking. We completed a re-design that stayed true to the aesthetic aspects of the design but converted it from an HTML site using frames for almost all content, to an accessible dynamic site on WordPress CMS.

Doing this enabled RCIL to begin updating content and resources on their site quickly and easily, allowed their consumers to have access to their information, and within a year; without extraordinary SEO work, they moved from the 6th page of Google to the 1st page for their selected search terms. This underscores our belief that if you have quality, fresh content that is easily accessible you are 90% of the way to an awesome SEO campaign.

We incorporated social media outlets in their site, better organized the information in their navigation bars based on analytic stats, and incorporated a Google events calendar that makes managing all the events in their satellite offices much easier.
